Business Support Specialist
Businesses and organizations of all types and in almost every industry depend upon administrative support to execute practical, everyday operations and in order to do so employ large numbers of people equipped with the right business related skills or formal training.
What You'll Learn:
You will build solid office, business and computer skills in this program. You will master Microsoft Office 2010 software applications including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. You will learn accounting theory using paper based and a computerized Accounting system (Simply Accounting 2010). Our Practical Applications Workshops as well as Management and Entrepreneurship theory will help prepare you for the realities of a career in business.
This program consists of seven components:

A positive attitude, flexibility, attention to detail and sound interpersonal/communication skills.
Employment Outlook:
The majority of students that earn a business support certificate become employed in service providing industries, ranging in everything from health and education to government and retail trade. The most rapidly growing industries all require support services of some kind and continue to generate most new job opportunities.

Official Transcripts for the 2012-13 school year will be mailed out to students by the Ministry of Education the first week of August 2013. High School Diplomas will be ready for pick up in the office in September 2013.
