Getting to School

School Bus

School-aged students who are eligible and would like to use the school bus to get to the Dewdney Trunk location, must complete and submit an application with payment to the office to be forwarded to the Manager of Operations.

Students who are presently using the school bus are reminded to confirm with the office whether they will or will not need to continue this service to our Dewdney Trunk location. If they do need the service they must complete and submit an application with payment to the office to be forwarded to the Manager of Operations.

The manager of Operations will process the applications and will provide students with the appropriate routes to get to and from the Dewdney Trunk location.

School buses wil be picking up and dropping off students in the following locations:

• Dewdney Trunk Road for all Westbound buses
• Front Parking Lot for all Eastbound buses
  

Public Transit

Bus #34 - East Side Loop stops on Stave Lake Road across from the front of the Dewdney Trunk location. This bus stops at Stave Lake and Dewdney Trunk Road from 6:35 a.m. to 6:21 p.m. If you are interested in using public transit, we have a copy of the route map and schedule in the office.

If you are planning to use public transit, please remember to:

• Use the crosswalk in front of the school.
• Be very careful crossing the Dewdney Trunk Road.
  
• Be careful crossing the front parking lot.
  

Parking

If you are being driven to and from school, please have your driver drop you off and pick you up on Dewdney Trunk Road. The staff will be using the east entrance to access the front parking stalls. The students will be using the west entrance to access the back parking stalls. The school bus will be using both entrances for drop off and pick up.

We continue to encourage our students to leave their vehicles at home and use public transit. If you must bring your vehicle to school, you will need to register your vehicle with the office. Parking on our Dewdney Trunk site is limited.

Parking Registration

We have a limited number of parking stalls in the front parking lot facing Dewdney Trunk Road as well as some spaces at the back of the property for student use. Please register your vehicle with the office. Students must use the west entrace to access the back parking stalls. Students are reminded to be very careful when entering, exiting and crossing the back parking lot in their vehicle or on foot.
